
Chief Rabbi of Dnepropetrovsk Shmuel Kaminezki
Shmuel Kaminezki was born in Kfar Chabad, Israel, in 1965. His parents came from the Soviet Union because of religious persecution.
He studied at cheder in Kfar Chabad till he was 13. From 13 to 16 years of age he studied at yeshiva in Lod.
In 1981 Shmuel Kaminezki came to the USA to study with the Lubavicher Rebbe.
He graduated from Rabbinical College of America in Morris Town, New Jersey.
Then he continued his education and taught at yeshiva for Rebbe’s shluchim in New Heaven, Connecticut.
Later he taught at Rabbinical College of America.
In 1989 Shmuel Kaminezki married Chana Lipsker.
In 1990 the Lubavicher Rebbe sent Rabbi Shmuel Kaminetsky and Chana Kaminezki as his shluchim to the Jewish community in Dnepropetrovsk.
Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki was elected the Chief Rabbi of Dnepropetrovsk and the region, chairman of the Dnepropetrovsk Jewish Community.
Rabbi Shmuel and Chana Kaminezki have five daughters and three sons.
