TABOO theater led by Alla Burakovskaya working at Rosalin Gurvin community center will soon present its new performance on Holocaust.
It will consist of three parts based on works by Efraim Sevela, Tadeush Borovsky and Dina Rubina adapted by A. Burakovskaya devoted to love and death, moral choice and responsibility.
Alla Burakovskaya says, “We’d like to show the premiere at a popular place, not just for Jewish public, then bring it to city schools so that our youth gets some idea of the Holocaust and starts thinking about past and present. We’d also like to show our play in Kiev and other Ukrainian cities. I hope that thanks to this performance our children including the Jewish school students will at least visit Baby Yar, a Holocaust symbol for the whole world”.
