Another JBBBS meeting: creativity, good deeds and warm fellowship

This past JBBBS meeting brought children, volunteers and mentors together in an atmosphere of creativity, helpfulness and caring. The participants enjoyed spending time together, creating not only beautiful things, but also helping those in need.

The youngest group of pupils engaged in an interesting creative project: under the guidance of volunteers, the children made unique elements of decor – stands for stationery and vases. They turned ordinary plastic spoons and glasses into real works of art.

Meanwhile, the senior participants of the Big Brothers, Big Sisters program have taken on an important mission – to prepare special kindling devices for the defenders of Ukraine. These homemade devices based on wax, thread and matches will help to start a fire even in the most difficult weather conditions. In this way, the guys gave the soldiers a part of their warmth, gratitude and support.

As Tatiana Kaplunskaya noted: “At our meetings, children don’t just spend time – they learn to care, show their talents and gain valuable experience. We are happy to see how each time they discover something new. Our meetings are held every Sunday with the support of the Jewish communities of Dnipro and Boston (USA). The program is part of the multifunctional “Kegila Project” and invites children with Jewish roots from 5 to 16 years old to participate. Please join us!
