A week before the holiday of Purim, the Jewish community of Dnipro celebrated the 60th anniversary of its Chief Rabbi, Rabbi Shmuel Kaminetsky, who for almost 35 years, since June 1990, has been leading the revival of Jewish life in the city.
The celebration in honor of Rabbi Shmuel Kaminetsky’s birthday was held in the Menorah Ballroom of the Menorah Jewish Center. There were many touching videos prepared for this holiday, sincere and insightful speeches, numerous “lechaim”, greetings and warmest wishes. A special atmosphere was created by the conference of the extraordinary host of the holiday, which was performed by the director of the Jewish community of Dnipro, Zelig Brez.
