Purim 5785 at Beit Baruch

On the holiday of Purim 5785, a number of festive events were held at the Home for the Elderly of the Jewish Community of Dnipro, which brought much joy to all residents of Beit Baruch and its employees.

First, the reading of the Suva Megilat Esther took place twice, as is customary according to Jewish tradition. Under the leadership of the Rabbi of the Beit Baruch Home, Levi Artyushkin, in the morning the Suva was read by a yeshiva student, Menachem Mendel Neumann. The residents of the Home listened attentively to the reading of the Suva and made a terrible noise in the appropriate places to drown out the name of Haman.

“All residents of our House received delicious holiday greetings from our friend Boris Kazimirov,” said Malvina Ruvinska, director of “Beit Baruch,” “we also received very pleasant greetings from Alla Davydovna Zamanska. We want to express our sincere gratitude for these gifts, as well as for the gifts from the Jewish Community of Dnipro and the JRNU Foundation.”

For the holiday of Purim, as Jewish tradition requires, a festive meal was arranged, which corresponded to the commandment to make a feast on Purim, which brings a lot of joy to those who participate in it.

Also, for the residents of “Beit Baruch,” the “Haya-Mushka” mahon presented a concert program, but this event deserves a separate post.
