Preparing for Passover with Jewish Big Brothers, Big Sisters

This Sunday, the wonderful Jewish Big Brothers, Big Sisters family began preparations for one of the most important holidays in the Jewish calendar – Passover. This holiday of freedom fills hearts with warmth and reminds us of the power of unity of the Jewish people.

“Together, we recalled the events that preceded the exodus of the Jews from Egypt, talked about the importance of freedom, traditions and family values that are passed down from generation to generation. This meeting was not only an opportunity for us to immerse ourselves in the fascinating history of our people, but also to feel the spirit of unity and support even more, said project manager Tetyana Kaplunska. – However, this time our meeting was special! The children had a unique opportunity to record voice greetings for their relatives together with a professional sound engineer. Each family will receive a real musical card, full of sincere wishes and warm words. This is not only an interesting experience for our students, but also an opportunity to give a piece of love and joy to their loved ones.

And, of course, what event is without fun? We drew, played exciting games, watched an interesting cartoon and tasted kosher treats. It was a time filled with lively communication, sincere laughter and warmth. After all, real magic is the moments spent together when hearts are filled with happiness and goodness!

Our big family is looking forward to new meetings with our students next Sunday! We sincerely thank the Jewish communities of Dnipro and Boston (USA) for their constant support and assistance in the development of our program.
