Children’s Matzah Bakery at Beit Zindlicht

An amazing “children’s matzah bakery” was organized for the children of the Beit Zindlicht Children’s Education Center on the eve of Passover.

“First, we visited a real matzoh bakery called Tiferet Matzot and watched how matzoh shmura is made, but for real education it is important not only to watch, but also to try to do something with your own hands, “It’s important not only to watch, but to try to do something yourself, to gain personal experience,” says Beit Zindlicht director Risha Gurevich, “so we set up a children’s matzah bakery at Beit Zindlicht, where the children did all the stages – mixing, rolling, perforating, and even almost baking. It is clear that the matzoh made by the children cannot be considered “kosher for Passover,” so they were very happy to eat it themselves.”

Beit Zindlicht pays great attention to preparations for the Passover holiday: children study the history of the holiday and related events, help prepare the Beit Zindlicht premises, learn Passover songs and prepare for their important role during the Seder.

The event was held with the support of the Jewish Community of Dnipro.
