Grandiose Passover celebration in Dnipro

This year’s Passover celebration in the Jewish community of Dnipro was truly grandiose – more than 10,000 Jews of the city received kits containing matzoh and kosher juice and other attributes of Passover on the eve of the holiday, and more than 2,000 Jews participated in public Seder organized by the Jewish community.

This year, community Seder services were organized in the Menorah Grand Hall, in the city’s synagogues – Golden Rose, Alter Shul, Beit Levi Yitzhak, Beit Baruch, Beit Chabad na Polia, and Beit LeBanim, among others. Unfortunately, we can’t show you a photo of how beautifully everything was prepared for the Seder, because this year the holiday began on Matzevot Shabbat, and photography is prohibited on Shabbat and holidays.

In addition, on the eve of the holiday, 1,200 families from vulnerable groups: large families, low-income families, IDPs, etc. received large food packages to celebrate Passover throughout the holiday week.

The Jewish community of the city expresses its deep gratitude to its reliable partners and friends, the Federation of Jewish Communities of Ukraine and the Jewish Relief Network Ukraine, for their help and support in organizing and conducting the festivities.
