Jewish lyceum student wins STEAM Festival

Mariana Lipkina, an 8th grade student at the Levi-Yitzhak Schneerson Jewish Lyceum #144 in Dnipro, won second place at the prestigious ORT network competition STEAM Festival in memory of Badri Lolashvili.

“This year’s STEAM Festival was held at Lyceum #141 in Kyiv. Kyiv and brought together talented young people from different parts of Ukraine from the ORT network of institutions, who presented their developments in software, hardware, robotics, computer art and short films.

Mariana Lipkina from Dnipro, under the guidance of physics teacher Lucy Begraghian, presented her work in the Short Film – Author’s Video nomination, which was dedicated to STEAM education. “In this work, she skillfully combined a fascinating story, visual effects and soundtrack,” says Deputy Director Svitlana Romenska, “We sincerely congratulate Mariana and her supervisor on this significant victory and wish her further success and new bright achievements!
