The Jewish community of Dnipro and our website sincerely congratulate Leonora Yukhymivna Danovych on her birthday!
Leonora Yukhymivna is a recognized symbol of a true Yiddishe Mame — she wholeheartedly supported her husband, Viktor Danovych, one of the pioneers of Jewish revival in the Dnipropetrovsk region. He headed the board of the “Hesed Menachem” Charitable Foundation for many years, founded the “Institute for Social and Community Workers” in Dnipropetrovsk, and was the inspiration and organizer of the academic conference series “Jewish Thought Through the Centuries.” She raised wonderful sons, one of whom, Oleksandr, now chairs the Supervisory Board of the “Hesed Menachem” Foundation and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Jewish Community of Dnipro. Leonora Yukhymivna herself was an active volunteer with Hesed from its earliest days.
The Jewish community and our website wish Leonora Yukhymivna happiness, health, and success, much joy from her children and grandchildren — and may they come to Torah, to the chuppah, and to good deeds.
