“Bnot Melech” – Jewish Princesses of Dnipro

At the Dnipro-based girls’ school Chaya Mushka, part of the Jewish Community’s educational system, another vibrant session of the “Bnot Melech” program took place — this time for 5th and 6th grade girls. The event was dedicated to the beginning of the Jewish month of Iyar and was filled with warmth and inspiration.

Daniela Listengurt, the program leader (morah), shared that each session is more than just a lesson — it’s a celebration. The girls enjoyed a delicious kosher dairy meal with pizza and sweets, sang niggunim, explored Jewish identity and values, and discussed what it means to be a true Jewish girl — a daughter of the King, a Bat Melech.

One of the highlights was a themed game with meaningful prizes: the winners received beautiful mirrors — not just lovely accessories, but symbols of deeper meaning. Looking into the mirror, each girl is reminded that she reflects the spiritual beauty, purity, and dignity of a Jewish woman.

“This program takes place regularly thanks to the support of the Jewish Community of Dnipro. It’s an essential part of shaping the confidence, self-awareness, and values of our girls. We are raising real Jewish princesses,” says Daniela Listengurt.
