On Sunday, the 13th of Iyar, a meaningful farbrengen was held in the side section of the main prayer hall of the Central Synagogue “Golden Rose,” dedicated to two special dates: Pesach Sheni—a day that reminds us of second chances—and the yahrzeit of Rabbi Yisroel Aryeh Leib Schneerson, the younger brother of the Seventh Lubavitcher Rebbe.
The farbrengen was led by Rabbi Moshe-Leib Weber, one of the leaders of the global “Kollel Torah” project, and Chief Rabbi of Kamianske Levi Stambler. They shared personal stories, Chassidic tales, words of Torah and inspiration that helped participants connect more deeply with the meaning of the day.
Pesach Sheni teaches that even if something was missed—there is always a way to make it right. The day symbolizes the power of teshuvah, of inner transformation, which can alter the course of events. The mention of Yisroel Aryeh Leib, a figure closely linked with the spiritual heritage of Chabad, added particular warmth and depth to the gathering.
Thanks to the support of the Jewish Community of Dnipro, the event brought together people of different ages, showing that shared conversation, song, stories, and the words of Chassidism are a powerful way to strengthen our souls and the bonds between us.
