The Jewish community of Dnipro’s “Beit Sarah” project for senior women, led by the well-known Jewish revival leader Luiza Tsitsuashvili, marked Pesach Sheni in a particularly meaningful way.
Thanks to the support of the Jewish community of Dnipro, each participant received a special gift—a box of matzah and a bottle of grape juice. This thoughtful gesture became a symbol of care and attention, as well as a powerful reminder of the importance of unity, tradition, and the spiritual renewal that this holiday represents.
“For us, it’s more than just gatherings or gifts,” says Luiza Tsitsuashvili. “It’s proof that we are remembered, valued, and respected. The matzah and juice are not just symbols of the holiday, but of the love we feel week after week. It’s not only a source of spiritual and emotional support for the elderly, but also a vivid example of how tradition can be a wellspring of strength, inspiration, and intergenerational connection at the heart of our Jewish community.”
