“STEM Teacher of the Year” – Educator from Dnipro’s Jewish Lyceum

Galyna Kidalova, a teacher at Levi Yitzchak Schneerson Jewish Lyceum No. 144 – the flagship educational institution of the Jewish Community of Dnipro – won the bronze prize (third place) in the regional “STEM Teacher of the Year” competition.

This prestigious contest took place from November 2024 to April 2025 and aimed to showcase and promote best practices in implementing STEM education. It was organized by the Dnipro Academy of Continuing Education with support from the industrial company Interpipe, Progress-Tech Ukraine training center, and the NGO Noosphere Association, within the framework of a regional-level research and implementation project focused on developing and integrating STEM approaches in education.

“Mrs. Kidalova’s outstanding result reflects her professionalism, creativity in teaching, and successful implementation of innovative STEM technologies into our lyceum’s educational process,” noted Lyceum Principal Olena Krasnova. “Her achievement is a source of pride for our teaching staff and an inspiration for our students. We wish her continued professional success, fresh ideas, and tireless energy in her important work!”

For reference, STEM education is an interdisciplinary approach that integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, showing students how these fields apply in real-world problem-solving.
