At the “Beit Tsindlicht” Children’s Educational Center – the main preschool institution of the Jewish community of Dnipro – festive graduation ceremonies took place, marking the end of the academic year and the children’s transition to a new stage in life.
The central celebration was held for the children who are finishing their preschool education this year and will proudly become first graders on September 1st. The graduation took place on the eve of Shavuot, and the children and their parents received heartfelt wishes and guidance from the leaders of “Beit Tsindlicht” – Director Rebbetzin Risha Gurevich and Head Educator Ms. Nataliya Proshchenko.
Given the current circumstances, the event was held in a shelter. Nevertheless, all the traditional elements of the “Beit Tsindlicht” graduation were preserved: dancing, greetings from parents, a literary-musical performance, flower presentations, and commemorative photos – all of which made this touching occasion truly unforgettable.
“We are so proud of each and every one of our graduates,” emphasized Risha Gurevich. “I sincerely hope that the parents will make the best choice, and on September 1st we will see all of the children at our renowned Jewish Lyceum No. 144 named after Levi Yitzchak Schneerson. Education there is truly the best gift we can give to a Jewish child in our city.”
The event was held with the support of the Jewish Community of Dnipro.
