We are happy to share wonderful news: Artem Lazarenko, a member of the “Golden Rose” Synagogue and son of community women’s program participant Chana Lazarenko, has made a meaningful and responsible decision — he has entered the Covenant of Abraham.
The brit milah ceremony was held at the Jewish Medical Center (JMC) and was conducted by the Chief Mohel of Ukraine and Moldova, Rabbi Yaakov Gaysinovich, a representative of the international organization Brit Yosef Yitzchak. He was assisted by Professor Alexander Rodinsky.
The honorable role of Sandak was fulfilled by respected community member David Finkelstein, and the rabbi of the “Golden Rose” Synagogue, Reuven Milman, recited the blessings and proclaimed:
“And let his name in Israel be called Asher!”
We join the entire community in extending heartfelt congratulations to Asher Lazarenko and wish him to grow into Torah, marriage, and good deeds!
