Mazel Tov to Shmuel Isaac Segal on His Bar Mitzvah!

The Bar Mitzvah of Shmuel Isaac Segal, son of Rabbi Shlomo Segal and Rebbetzin Chana, became a landmark event for the Jewish community of Dnipro and numerous guests from other cities. This special day was celebrated in the luxurious Menorah Ballroom of the Menorah Center — the largest Jewish center in the world.

Before the official part began, guests warmly congratulated the Bar Mitzvah boy and his parents, posed for photos, and shared heartfelt wishes. The formal program opened with the reading of a blessing letter from the Lubavitcher Rebbe, presented by Rabbi Meir Tzvi Stambler, Chairman of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Ukraine, and translated into Russian by Rabbi Yaakov Yakimenko, the Rebbe’s emissary in Kharkiv, who came especially for the occasion. Following this, the guests watched a special video segment featuring the Seventh Lubavitcher Rebbe, Menachem Mendel Schneerson.

The entire hall joined in singing a niggun of the Rebbe, after which Shmuel Isaac Segal recited by heart the maamar “Ita BeMidrash Tehillim.” This maamar speaks about the importance of the mitzvah of putting on tefillin and the profound impact that fulfilling mitzvot has in bringing spiritual light into the world. Upon concluding the maamar, the hall erupted in applause, and vibrant Chassidic dancing began on both the men’s and women’s sides of the hall.

Our website joins all in wishing Shmuel Isaac Segal to always bring joy to his parents, to grow into a true Torah scholar and a devoted chassid, and to continue on his path to Torah, Chuppah, and Good Deeds!

Mazl Tov!
