The day camp for boys “Geula in every home”, organized by the Jewish community of Dnepr on the basis of the junior yeshiva named after Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Schneerson, hosts many events every day – lessons, games, workshops, sports competitions.
At one of the workshops, the children decorated their kippahs, painting with special paints and thus making them more personalized, reflecting the unique personality of each child. Another workshop was dedicated to making kites – a very ancient and traditional summer entertainment with deep cultural and historical roots. The children were able to test the kites they made with their own hands on the sports ground of the Jewish lyceum.
Team sports competitions were also organized, which brought the children a lot of emotions, experiences and excitement. But, of course, the main thing was the classes and lessons with experienced madrichim, because in addition to entertainment, the camp pays great attention to strengthening and developing Jewish self-identification, gaining knowledge about Jewish history, traditions, and even the basics of the Hasidic worldview.
