Completion of the work of the camp for boys “Geula in every home”

Every day in the camp for boys “Geula in every home”, organized by the Jewish community of Dnepr on the basis of the junior yeshiva named after Rabbi Levi-Yitzchak Schneerson, there were deeply meaningful classes, master classes and sports games, in which twenty-five children, under the guidance of experienced madrichim, could have a fun and complete rest, studying issues related to Geula and the approach of the coming of Moshiach.

“The children really remembered the master class on making and decorating boxes for tzedokah, which they were able to design in their own style,” says the director of the camp, Rabbi Akiva Romanovsky, “every day in the morning we had a class, and then master classes and other entertainment, and we tried to make sure that the children remembered every moment spent in the camp.”

A special experience was the creation by all the children in the camp of a video clip for a song glorifying the approach of Shabbat, as a prototype of the coming complete Liberation. The song “Lecha Dodi” was recorded in the studio, and then a video was created, capturing the brightest moments of the camp, reflecting the joy and enthusiasm of the children, their cohesion and unity.

Every day in the camp, the children, through their good deeds, diligent study and active participation in games and quizzes, could earn conditional “Geula-dollars”, which on the final day of work could be spent during a special campaign “Shop” and buy a variety of kosher treats, toys, souvenirs and other gifts that please the heart of a child.

In honor of the end of the camp, a tour to the BerryLand entertainment center was organized for the children, where they were able to ride catamarans, have fun in nature and enjoy a wonderful summer day together with the madrichim.

“I want to express not only on my own behalf, but also on behalf of all the madrichim, all the children and their parents, deep gratitude to the Jewish Community of Dnepr and its Chief Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki for this wonderful camp, filled with deep spiritual content,” notes Rabbi Akiva Romanovsky, “we really did everything to bring the time of Geula closer, so that each child would feel how much depends on him personally, how important it is for all Jews to unite and make efforts to complete the galut and reveal the righteous Moshiach.”
