All First-Graders of the Dnipro Jewish Community Received Gifts from JRNU

This year, all first-graders of the Levi Yitzchak Schneerson Jewish Lyceum No. 144, the leading educational institution of the Dnipro Jewish Community, received a wonderful gift from the charitable organization JRNU (Jewish Relief Network Ukraine) on the eve of Knowledge Day, September 1 — beautiful, durable, and comfortable backpacks.

“Every first-grader received a Kite backpack from the German company Axent Gruppe before the start of the school year. It is ergonomic, very comfortable, practical, and made of exceptionally high quality,” said Rada Romantsova, head of the humanitarian department of the Dnipro Jewish Community. “Both children and parents are very grateful to JRNU for such a wonderful and useful gift.”

Parents of the children who received such a significant gift before September 1 expressed deep gratitude for the attention and care: “We were very touched when we were invited to receive such a high-quality and comfortable backpack before our child started school,” said Chana Neshes. “A proper backpack is especially important for a young child, as it greatly influences them, will shape their posture, and will bring them joy for a long time. Our family wishes to express deep gratitude to our Jewish community and the JRNU organization for caring for every Jewish first-grader.”
