Chuppah of David Maltsev and Rina Fridman Takes Place in Dnipro!

A touching and solemn Jewish wedding ceremony – Chuppah ve-Kiddushin – for David Maltsev and Rina Fridman took place at the largest Jewish center “Menorah” in Dnipro.

After signing the marriage contract – the ketubah – in full accordance with Jewish law, the wedding celebration began with the traditional Kabbalat Panim reception. Rina welcomed her family and friends in the banquet halls of “Pchelkin’s House.” Then, accompanied by men, David was brought to her, where he performed the badeken ceremony.

The wedding ceremony “Chuppah ve-Kiddushin” took place under the open sky on the Grand Terrace of Menorah Grand Palace in the presence of family and friends, rabbis and respected members of the Jewish communities of Dnipro and Kyiv. Menachem Mendel Kaminezki successfully made his debut as the host of this celebration.

The wedding hymn “Mi Adir” was performed by Rabbi Sholom Dov Ber Nachshon. A blessing letter from the Lubavitcher Rebbe was read by Rabbi Akiva Romanovsky, with the translation by Reb Michoel Pinkus. After this, the couple was blessed by a descendant of the High Priests – Rabbi Dubi Ehrentroy HaCohen.

The official wedding ceremony “Chuppah ve-Kiddushin” for David Maltsev and Rina Fridman was conducted by Chief Rabbi of Dnipro and the region Shmuel Kaminezki. The authenticity of the ring was witnessed by Rabbis Adam Smilyansky and Menachem Mendel Feldman. The marriage contract – the ketubah – was read by Rabbi Moyshe Leib Weber. Then the traditional Sheva Brachot, seven wedding blessings, were recited.

The Jewish community of Dnipro and our website join the numerous congratulations and wish David and Rina to build a strong Jewish family on the solid foundation of Torah and mitzvot.
