Machon Announces the Year’s Theme – “The Fire of the Jewish Soul”

An impressive celebration took place at the Machon “Chaya-Mushka,” the leading educational institution of the Dnipro Jewish Community for girls, where the theme to be explored throughout the entire academic year was unveiled: “The Fire of the Jewish Soul.”

The theme was proposed and presented by the young Machon teachers, Chana Stambler and Esther Kaminezki, during a vibrant and spiritually rich lesson. Subsequently, various aspects of the year’s theme will be explored during lessons, farbrengens, holidays, and other events, both within the Machon and beyond. This annual theme, which serves as a kind of leitmotif, is an important part of the educational process, helping to unite events that differ in structure, topic, and format.

“Our teachers, Chana Stambler and Esther Kaminezki, did everything very beautifully and with great tact—they prepared the material, conducted an interesting game, and the students actively participated in the process,” said the Mashpia, Sheina Smilyanskaya. “The topic of the soul and the presence of G-d’s fire within it is very complex and requires deep exploration in a wide variety of aspects, as often discussed by the Head of our Generation, the Seventh Lubavitcher Rebbe, Menachem Mendel Schneerson.”
