As part of a large-scale initiative to develop cooperation between our region and the Czech Republic, an official visit of high-ranking and influential Czech officials to the Jewish Community of Dnipro took place, which included a meeting with Chief Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki.
The Czech delegation was led by the Czech Government Envoy for the Reconstruction of Ukraine, Mr. Tomas Kopecny, accompanied by staff from the Czech diplomatic mission in Dnipro, Vaclav Kallus and Pavel Kamenik, as well as the co-founders and directors of the well-known European consulting and lobbying company “Nemec+Chvatal in Brussels,” Vojtech Nemec and Viktor Chvatal.
During the meeting with the Chief Rabbi of Dnipro and the region, Shmuel Kaminezki, and the General Director of the world’s largest Jewish center, Menorah, Svitlana Yermakova, a wide range of current issues of public life, the economic situation, and prospective cooperation projects in various fields were discussed.
