Rabbi Yosef Glick Awarded the “People’s Honor Badge ‘Pro Nostra et Vestra Libertate'”

A solemn award ceremony was held at the Dnipro Jewish Community to present the “People’s Honor Badge ‘Pro Nostra et Vestra Libertate'” (For Our and Your Freedom) to the renowned benefactor and philanthropist, organizer of numerous humanitarian projects for children from vulnerable groups, Rabbi Yosef Glick.

The honorary award was presented to Rabbi Yosef Glick by the Chairman of the Board of the “Association of Afghan and Chernobyl Veterans,” Member of Parliament of the 5th and 6th convocations, Oleksandr Riabeka. He noted Rabbi Glick’s significant contribution to the development of charity and volunteering in Ukraine, as well as his role in creating assistance projects for children deprived of parental care.

The initiative to award Rabbi Glick came from a member of the Dnipro Jewish Community, public figure, Full Cavalier of the Order “For Merit,” City Council Deputy, and Head of the City Union “Chernobyl Union of Ukraine,” Ihor Turchyn.

The Chief Rabbi of Dnipro and the region, Shmuel Kaminezki, while congratulating Rabbi Yosef Glick on the honorary award, emphasized his outstanding contribution to the creation and development of humanitarian and educational institutions of the Dnipro Jewish Community and other socially important initiatives, and wished him great success in all his good deeds.
