“Menorah Community” Sukkot Celebration Party

During the days of Chol HaMoed Sukkot, a festive party for the “Menorah Community” youth project of the Dnipro Jewish Community was held in one of the sukkahs at the “Menorah” Center. The project is actively developing thanks to the efforts of the Zislin family.

The project’s leader, Levi Zislin, the “Menorah Community” rabbi, Reuven Kaminezki, and teachers of the men’s and women’s classes addressed the participants with warm welcoming words. All those present were able to perform the main commandments of the holiday – concerning the “Four Species” and “dwelling in the sukkah.” A delicious kosher meal was served for the guests, before which everyone recited the blessings under the guidance of Lea Mayevskaya, and during the meal itself, words of Torah (Dvar Torah) were shared by Shmuel and Osnat Liberman.

“Rejoicing and being happy on Sukkot is also a commandment, and we did everything so that the participants of our community could fulfill it as brightly as possible,” says Levi Zislin, head of the “Menorah Community” project. “We had a wonderful bar, delicious food, a great DJ with an excellent Jewish set, and the holiday turned out to be very fun and special. Such meetings are not just parties; it’s a moment when everyone feels part of a large, warm, and vibrant Jewish community. We are grateful to everyone who was with us and helped create this atmosphere of happiness and unity, and we especially want to express our most sincere gratitude to our united and close-knit Dnipro Jewish Community and its Chief Rabbi, Shmuel Kaminezki.”
