This Week’s Theme at “Beit Zindlicht”: The Structure of the Human Body

Each week at the “Beit Zindlicht” Children’s Educational Center, the main preschool institution of the Dnipro Jewish Community, is dedicated to a specific theme. These themes introduce the children to a wide variety of phenomena, processes, and aspects of the world around them, helping to form a proper understanding of reality.

This week’s theme at “Beit Zindlicht” was an introduction to the human body, its parts, internal organs, basic functions, and the importance of caring for both physical and spiritual health. The lessons were conducted in a playful format using dolls, drawings, and appliqué work, fostering creativity and stimulating cognitive interest.

“As children explore the world around them, they also learn about themselves, forming their identity both as individuals and as part of society,” said Natalia Proshchenko, the Head of “Beit Zindlicht.” “Topics related to natural phenomena, flora and fauna, and especially the human being, are very interesting for children. It is of great importance that the formation of their primary understanding of the world happens under the guidance of competent and qualified educators, based on fundamental values.”
