The Dnipro Jewish Community announces the start of preparations for one of the brightest and most joyous holidays of the year – Hanukkah. This year, the main ceremonial candle lighting on the city’s Hanukkiah will take place in the Gallery of the largest Menorah.
Important! New Participation Rules
Due to security requirements, participation in the holiday candle lighting ceremonies is possible only by prior online registration.

The Start of Hanukkah is Very Soon!
The first candle will be lit on Sunday, December 14, at 5:00 PM.
This is the beginning of eight days of light, joy, and Jewish unity – don’t miss it!
Schedule of Grand Candle Lighting Ceremonies:

December 14-18 (Sunday-Thursday) – at 5:00 PM

December 20 (Saturday, Motzei Shabbat) – at 6:00 PM

December 21 (Sunday) – at 5:00 PM
Each day features a grand holiday program:

Candle lighting by honored guests;

Touching Hanukkah stories and ma’asim (deeds);

Musical and entertainment program;

Quizzes, prize draws, and surprises;

Traditional treat of Hanukkah donuts (sufganiyot).
