At the Levi Yitzchak Schneerson Jewish Lyceum No. 144, the leading educational institution of the Dnipro Jewish Community, the month of Kislev was summarized with vibrancy and emotion, and a new stage connected to the month of Tevet has been launched with inspiration. The festive events that took place recently will remain in the memory of the students, teachers, and the entire lyceum family for a long time.
A special final chord of Kislev was the photo marathon “#Light_144”. Following its results, a lottery was held, gifts found their owners, and participants in the festive play “Harry Pottermand and the Enchanted Chanukiah” received well-deserved applause and words of thanks for their creativity and energy.
At the same time, the lyceum is not resting on its laurels, as the month of Tevet is traditionally dedicated to the wisdom of Torah and in-depth learning. Right at the beginning of the month of Tevet, an exciting auction of Jewish books, “Didan Notzach,” took place at the lyceum, combining an interest in knowledge with a spirit of healthy competition.
Ahead, students can also look forward to a Torah Quiz, which will run from January 8th to 16th and promises to be a true intellectual challenge, filled with teamwork, discoveries, and the joy of learning.
“We have concluded the month of Kislev with great gratitude for all the bright events and are fully ready for the month of Tevet, which brings with it focus, depth, and the wisdom of Torah,” said the Deputy Director of the Jewish Lyceum, Svitlana Romenska. “For us, it is important that learning remains a lively, interesting, and inspiring process in which every student feels meaning, support, and the joy of growth.”
