At the “Beit Baruch” Home for the Elderly, a unique social institution of the Dnipro Jewish Community, the days of Chanukah passed warmly, joyfully, and with genuine light. Every day, the chanukiah was lit here, and people gathered together to support one another, lift spirits, and experience the holiday days in an atmosphere of joy, unity, and heartfelt warmth.
A true gift for the residents of “Beit Baruch” was a concert on the final evening of the holiday, performed by Valeriy Litman and Albert Shevchenko. These artists are always eagerly awaited here, well-known, loved, and joyfully received. During the concert, the audience sang along, requested favorite songs, thanked the musicians with applause, and saw them off with heartfelt ovations.
The music, live interaction, and festive mood made this Chanukah evening particularly memorable and filled hearts with a sense of care and attention.
“For our residents, such concerts are not just a performance, but a true event that brings joy, inspiration, and a feeling that they are remembered and cared for,” said the Director of the “Beit Baruch” Home for the Elderly, Malvina Ruvinska. “We sincerely thank our friends who come and bring us joy and attention, for their selfless work, for the warmth and light they bring with their performances. And for the constant support and attention to our unique social institution, we express our deep gratitude to the Dnipro Jewish Community and Chief Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki.”
