Purim 5786: Celebration at “Beit Chabad on Poly Avenue”

At “Beit Chabad on Poly Avenue,” the evening of Purim was filled with vibrant joy and authentic Yiddishkeit. The festive prayer and reading of the Megillas Esther were the central events of the holiday.

The reading was led by Rabbi Levi Engelsman of “Beit Chabad on Poly Avenue.” All those present listened attentively to every word of the Megillah, and at the moments when Haman’s name was mentioned, the hall resonated with loud noise and rattling, as tradition dictates. The atmosphere was truly emotional, filled with sincere Chassidic joy.

Following the Megillah reading, guests enjoyed light refreshments in the style of a Purim feast, allowing everyone to continue socializing in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The musical accompaniment for the evening was provided by Valeriy Litman, who performed lively songs, creating a special holiday mood and enhancing the feeling of spiritual elevation.

“We are very happy that we were able to celebrate Purim together in such a warm and joyful atmosphere,” noted Rabbi Levi Engelsman. “I want to express sincere gratitude to the Chief Rabbi of Dnipro, Shmuel Kaminezki, and the Dnipro Jewish Community for their ongoing support of our Beit Chabad, as well as to thank Valeriy Litman for the wonderful musical accompaniment, and everyone who shared this special Purim joy with us.”
