At “Beit Chabad Levi Yitzchak” on Nauky Avenue, the evening of Purim featured festive prayers and the reading of Megillas Esther, bringing together many esteemed members of the Dnipro Jewish Community in the vibrant atmosphere of the most joyous holiday on the Jewish calendar.
The Megillas Esther reading was led by Rabbi Yisroel Aryeh Leib Gurevich of “Beit Chabad Levi Yitzchak.” The congregants listened attentively to every word of the Megillah, and at the moments when the name of the primary villain was mentioned, the hall filled with noise and rattling, as Purim tradition dictates. The atmosphere was filled with the joy of fulfilling the mitzvah and a sense of community. Following the Megillah reading, socializing continued in a warm and festive atmosphere, allowing congregants to share the joy of Purim together.
“Purim at our ‘Beit Chabad Levi Yitzchak’ took place in a special atmosphere of unity and joy,” noted Rabbi Yisroel Aryeh Leib Gurevich. “We are truly delighted that so many esteemed members of the Dnipro Jewish Community came to celebrate with us and to express, together with us, sincere gratitude for the care, warmth, and support of our united and cohesive Dnipro Jewish Community under the leadership of its Chief Rabbi, Shmuel Kaminezki.”
