On the eve of the Pesach holiday, a distribution of holiday packages is taking place in the Dnipro Jewish Community, initiated by renowned businessman and philanthropist, long-time friend of the community Moshe Elikson, the company JBC – HOME “The Jewish House of Trade and Business in Ukraine,” and the Gozda family.
The holiday packages, accompanied by greetings of “Pesach kasher v’sameach,” have been prepared with special attention to both the meaning and practical aspects of conducting the Seder. They include sets of dishes and cutlery, enabling families not only to receive a gift but also to ensure proper preparation for the festive meal. The branded GAZDA packaging, featuring Pesach symbolism, images of matzah, a wine cup, and a ke’arah, highlights the connection of the set to the tradition and its purpose.
The recipients of the packages are Jewish families for whom such support is especially important on the eve of the holiday. Unlike symbolic gifts, these sets are aimed at creating the conditions for conducting the Seder in accordance with tradition, lending the initiative additional significance.
The families receiving the gifts convey their sincere gratitude to Moshe Elikson, the Gozda family, and the JBC – HOME team, along with the traditional wishes for success and blessing in all their good endeavors.
“We are very grateful for this assistance for Pesach, received not only in the Dnipro Jewish Community but also in many communities across Ukraine, thanks to the care and support of Reb Moshe Elikson and the Gozda family, who do so much for the Jews of our country,” noted Rabbi Reuven Kaminezki. “Such packages truly help prepare for the holiday and conduct the Seder as is customary in Jewish tradition. May the Almighty bless the donors with health, success, and the continuation of their important work for the benefit of Jewish life in Ukraine.”
