Moshe Mendel Aleksandrov Entered the Covenant of Avraham. Mazel Tov!

Our website is pleased to report that Nikita Aleksandrov, a student of Rabbi Reuven Milman of the “Golden Rose” Synagogue, has taken an important step in his life and entered the Covenant of Avraham, taking the name Moshe Mendel.

The bris milah ceremony took place in a warm and uplifting atmosphere at the JMC Jewish Medical Center. The honored role of sandak was performed by Rabbi Reuven Milman himself, who accompanies Nikita on his spiritual path and supports his aspiration for a Jewish life.

A special moment of the event was the blessing of a Kohen – the Chief Rabbi of Zaporizhzhia, Nochum Erentroy – which added additional spiritual significance to the ceremony.

Following the ritual, a lesson dedicated to the meaning of this important mitzvah took place, as well as a festive meal in honor of the bris milah. The day concluded with Kiddush Levanah (the blessing of the new moon), a special prayer traditionally recited at the beginning of the new lunar cycle, thanking the Almighty for the renewal of the world and the opportunity for spiritual growth.

Rabbi Reuven Milman noted: “My student entered the Covenant of Avraham Avinu. It is a great honor for me to be by his side at this moment and to fulfill the role of sandak. We received the blessing of a Kohen, we studied together, and we shared the joy of this event – this is a true step into Jewish life.”

Our website joins all the congratulations to Moshe Mendel Aleksandrov and wishes him to go from strength to strength — to Torah, Chuppah, and good deeds!

Mazl Tov!
