Leonora Yefimovna is a recognized symbol of a true Yiddishe Mama. She tirelessly supported her husband, Viktor Danovich, one of the pioneers of the revival of Jewish life in the Dnipropetrovsk region. He headed the board of the “Chesed Menachem” Charitable Foundation for many years, founded the “Institute of Social and Community Workers” in Dnipropetrovsk, and was the inspirer and organizer of the series of scientific conferences “Jewish Thought Through the Centuries.” She raised wonderful sons, one of whom, Alexander, now heads the Supervisory Board of the “Chesed Menachem” Charitable Foundation. Leonora Yefimovna herself was an active volunteer of Chesed from its very first days.
The Dnipro Jewish Community and our website wish Leonora Yefimovna happiness, good health, success, and much nachas from her children and grandchildren. May they go from strength to strength — to Torah, Chuppah, and good deeds.
