Farbrengen in Honor of the Yahrzeit of Yisroel Aryeh Leib Schneerson and Pesach Sheini at the Golden Rose Synagogue

A special farbrengen took place in the Dnipro Jewish Community, dedicated to the yahrzeit of the brother of the Seventh Lubavitcher Rebbe – Yisroel Aryeh Leib Schneerson – as well as to Pesach Sheini, which embodies the idea of a second chance and spiritual renewal.

The event was held at the central “Golden Rose” Synagogue and gathered community members, the Rebbe’s shluchim, and regular congregants who came to mark this day in an atmosphere of Chassidic unity.

During the farbrengen, Reb Dan Makogon spoke, emphasizing the special significance of the yahrzeit day as a time to strengthen one’s connection to the Rebbe and deepen personal spiritual work. His words set the tone for the entire gathering, directing the participants’ attention to the inner meaning of this day.

A particularly moving impression was made by the address of the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s shliach in Dnipro, Reb Levi Karelenstein, who shared a personal story about his trip to Israel, where he had the opportunity to visit the granddaughter of Yisroel Aryeh Leib Schneerson. She spoke about her father, as well as about her grandfather and grandmother – Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Schneerson and Rebbetzin Chana – conveying a unique testimony that cannot be heard from books or lectures.

Inspiring words were also delivered by Rabbi Moshe Leib Weber, who spoke about the deep and unbreakable connection of every Jew to the Rebbe and how this connection manifests in daily life.

The farbrengen took place in a warm, Chassidic atmosphere, filled with niggunim and words of Torah. This event became yet another confirmation that the united and cohesive Dnipro Jewish Community, under the leadership of its Chief Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki, continues to live a rich spiritual life, preserving the values of Chassidus.
