The Dnipro Jewish Community is pleased to present an inspiring video dedicated to the festive parade and concert in honor of Lag B’Omer 5786, which took place at the world’s largest Jewish center, “Menorah.”
Lag B’Omer – the 33rd day of the Omer count, the yahrzeit of the great sage and tzaddik Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, who instructed that this day be observed not with mourning, but with joy, light, and unity. The tradition of solemn Jewish parades on Lag B’Omer was established by the Seventh Lubavitcher Rebbe – Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson – as a powerful expression of Jewish pride and the joy of Torah. This year, the Dnipro Jewish Community held a grand celebration worthy of this great tradition.
We have already told our readers about this event. Today, we offer you a video that allows you to once again immerse yourself in the atmosphere of this celebration, relive its vibrant moments, and recharge with that special energy of joy and unity that united all those present.
The Dnipro Jewish Community expresses its sincere gratitude to the esteemed organization Jewish Relief Network Ukraine and to the Weber family for their support in organizing this celebration.
