Every Creation Has Its Own Gift – A Celebration at Beit Zindlicht

Festive morning performances for the students of the younger and middle groups took place at the “Beit Zindlicht” Children’s Educational Center, the leading early childhood institution of the Dnipro Jewish Community, marking the conclusion of another school year. This year, the festive program was built around the theme of the uniqueness of every creation and the awareness that each child has their own talents, abilities, and special purpose.

The main idea of the celebration was conveyed through a theatrical story about a little Lamb who, observing the world around him, tried to understand how he could be useful to others. Along his journey, he met various animals and learned about their special qualities and purposes. Gradually, the hero came to understand that every creation of the Almighty is important and necessary, and its value is determined not by resemblance to others, but by the unique gifts with which it is endowed.

Not only the children but also the parents took part in the festive program. Together, they participated in interactive games and creative tasks, collected “honey” together with the Bees, danced, performed musical numbers, and created an atmosphere of a true family celebration.

A special place in the program was given to the theme of gratitude to the Almighty for the wondrous world, filled with a diversity of people, animals, plants, and natural phenomena. Through songs, poems, dances, and play performances, the children reflected on how important it is to notice the beauty of the world around them and to understand that every creation within it has its own unique role.

The culmination of the celebration was a discussion about the talents of the children themselves. The teachers reminded the children that the Almighty created each person special, and then the guests were shown a presentation dedicated to the abilities and achievements of every child. Thus, the main idea of the celebration found its conclusion: just as every creation has its own gift, so too does every child possess unique qualities that help them make the world a better place.

“We wanted to show the children that the Almighty created each person special and endowed them with their own abilities and talents,” noted kindergarten educator Naomi Chaya Yavorska. “It is very important that a child from an early age understands their own value, knows how to see the strengths of others, and thanks the Almighty for the wondrous world He created, in which each of us has our own special purpose, both as individuals, as representatives of the Jewish people, and as part of the united and cohesive Dnipro Jewish Community under the leadership of Chief Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki.”
