Meeting with the Head of the “Nativ” Representation in Ukraine, Mark Dovev, Held at the ICC

The “Nativ” Israeli Cultural Center in Dnipro at the Embassy of the State of Israel in Ukraine continues its educational activities. As part of the project “A Little Bit of Israel with Coffee,” a meeting was held with the head of the “Nativ” representation in Ukraine, Mark Dovev.

Participants had the opportunity to communicate with Mark Dovev in an informal atmosphere, discuss current issues related to Israel, its society and culture, and learn more about the activities of the “Nativ” organization in Ukraine.

The coordinator of the “Nativ” office in Dnipro, Aryeh Ivakhnenko, spoke about how the meeting went: “This meeting was an excellent opportunity to look at modern Israel through the lens of current events, internal processes, and international challenges. The open format was particularly valuable, allowing participants not only to hear expert analysis but also to receive substantive answers to their pressing questions.”

Mark Dovev himself shared his perspective on the situation: “At 78 years old, Israel has proven that it knows how to turn geopolitical dryness and hostility into innovation and strength. However, today the main challenge lies not externally but internally: will Israeli society be able to agree on the rules of coexistence before external threats make this dispute meaningless?”
