The Dnipro Jewish Community and our website wholeheartedly wish a very happy birthday to Lidiya Abramovna Gofman, an activist of the Jewish women’s movement in Dnipro. She has turned 94 years old!
Lidiya bat Elka, at her venerable age, is a true example of vitality, strength of spirit, and devotion to Jewish values. Every Shabbos, she walks to the synagogue, participates in farbrengens, supports the community, inspires the younger generation, and sets a bright example of activity and faith. Her presence is a source of warmth, wisdom, and inspiration for all the women of the community.
The Dnipro Jewish Community and our website wish Lidiya Abramovna good health, happiness, success, and may all her descendants go from strength to strength — to Torah, Chuppah, and good deeds.
