The opening of the new project “Jewish Women’s Hub: A Space for Jewish Initiatives” took place at the Hillel JSCC, implemented with the support of Joint Ukraine. The project aims to unite active young women of the Jewish community, creating a safe space for communication, mutual support, personal development, and the exchange of experiences.
The participants’ first meeting was held in the format of a cozy brunch, which served as a wonderful opportunity for getting acquainted, casual conversation, and building an atmosphere of trust. It is with such warm gatherings that a community begins—one where every woman can be heard, find inspiration, support, and new opportunities for self-fulfillment.
The theme of the first meeting was devoted to women’s leadership in the Jewish community. Together, the participants explored the stories of prominent Jewish women leaders from various eras, discussed their contributions to the development of their communities, and shared whose examples inspire them most. The lively discussion helped reflect on the qualities a modern leader should possess and the role women play in community development today.
Open dialogue, diversity of perspectives, and a sincere desire to connect and support one another made the first meeting especially warm and meaningful. It is precisely such conversations that lay the foundation for the formation of an active women’s community that inspires growth, new initiatives, and collaborative projects.
Ahead for the participants of Jewish Women’s Hub lies a series of thematic meetings devoted to personal development, leadership, psychology, traditions, culture, and other relevant topics. The project will serve as a platform for learning, inspiration, new connections, and the realization of their own ideas, strengthening women’s leadership and activity within the united and cohesive Jewish Community of Dnipro under the leadership of Chief Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki.
