The Jewish Lyceum No. 144 named after Levi Yitzchak Schneerson, a leading educational institution of the Jewish Community of Dnipro, secured 9th place among the city’s educational institutions in the ranking based on the results of the 2026 National Multisubject Test (NMT), published by the educational resource “Osvita.ua.” The average score of the lyceum’s graduates was 153.1 points, with 100% of the lyceum graduates who participated in the NMT successfully passing the tests.
The ranking was compiled by “Osvita.ua” based on the official NMT results provided by the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment. When determining an institution’s position, not only the average score of its graduates is taken into account, but also the number of tests they completed, allowing for a fair comparison of institutions with different numbers of participants. Thus, the high position of the Dnipro Jewish Lyceum reflects the real results of its graduates on the national test.
The lyceum students also demonstrated high results in individual subjects. According to the subject rankings by Education.ua, the lyceum placed 7th in Ukrainian language, 9th in mathematics, and 10th in Ukrainian history among all educational institutions in the city.
Behind these results lies the great collective effort of both the graduates and the lyceum’s teaching staff. The students were prepared for the NMT by the lyceum’s excellent educators – Iryna Shuleshko in mathematics, Svitlana Chernyshova in Ukrainian language and literature, Olha Skytiashyna in history, Halyna Kydalova in geography, Tetiana Syrotkina in chemistry, and Olena Raskina in English.
“It is especially significant to us that this is not about a single student’s victory or one outstanding result, but about the overall performance of our graduates. The fact that one hundred percent of our children successfully passed the tests is a very meaningful indicator for us,” said Lyceum Director Olena Krasnova. “Ninth place among Dnipro’s educational institutions and high rankings in individual subjects are the result of the tremendous effort of our entire lyceum – but above all, of the children themselves, their teachers, and their parents. I want to thank from the bottom of my heart our graduates for their hard work and responsibility, the teachers for their knowledge, professionalism, and faith in their students, and the parents for their cooperation, understanding, and love. Such results confirm that our lyceum successfully fulfills its educational mission and creates conditions in which children can receive a quality education and develop their abilities. This has been made possible thanks to the ongoing attention and comprehensive support of the united and cohesive Jewish Community of Dnipro under the leadership of Chief Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki.”
