We remind you that the holiday of Rosh Hashanah is not only the beginning of the year, but first and foremost the Day of Judgment of the Almighty over all His creations. It is a time when the fate of all existence for the coming year is determined. Therefore, both before this day and after it, until the sealing of the verdict on Yom Kippur – the Day of Atonement – we pray to the Creator for a favorable judgment for our loved ones, family, and friends, for our communities, for our beloved Ukraine, for Israel, and for the entire world.
It is very important to pronounce the blessing aloud, and not only in thought, for a word – a prayer and a wish – possesses enormous power, and on these days our voice holds special significance. A wish spoken sincerely can influence destiny – so let us wish one another a good inscription and a good verdict from the bottom of our hearts, and may the Master of the World hear it and make it so.
Do not forget: it is necessary to come and hear the shofar on Rosh Hashanah during the morning Shacharis prayer.
In Dnipro, the shofar will be sounded on September 13 at the Central “Golden Rose” Synagogue at 11:40 AM.
