The Jewish Medical Center “JMC,” one of the most important medical and social institutions of the Jewish Community of Dnipro, has received a new significant shipment of medical materials and specialized equipment from the American charitable foundation Our Home Ukraine Foundation, founded by Tanya Polsky. This is already the third delivery of assistance from the foundation, which consistently supports the activity of the medical center, helping to provide it with the necessary means for delivering qualified medical care to patients.
The new charitable shipment included various medical products and consumables necessary for the clinic’s daily work and for performing surgical interventions. In particular, JMC received disposable medical gowns and masks, sterile sheets, suture materials, special strips for securing the edges of wounds, infusion sets, and protective covers for medical instruments.
Of particular value are the specialized medical products that were transferred, in particular a urethral stent, a coagulation electrode, and a coronary stenting system with a zotarolimus coating. Such products are used during various medical interventions and enable doctors to apply modern methods of treatment, and their arrival expands the medical center’s capabilities in providing patients with the necessary care.
Our Home Ukraine Foundation is an American charitable organization founded by Tanya Polsky, which provides systematic support to Ukraine, in particular to Jewish communities and medical institutions. For JMC, it is especially important that the foundation’s assistance is not limited to one-time deliveries but turns into a lasting partnership aimed at supporting medical personnel and caring for patients’ health.
“We are sincerely grateful to the founder of the foundation, Tanya Polsky, to the entire team of Our Home Ukraine Foundation, and to everyone who takes part in this important charitable endeavor,” notes the General Director of JMC, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Alexander Rodinsky. “For us, this assistance means not only the receipt of the necessary medical materials and equipment but also confidence that our work finds understanding and support among friends across the ocean. Such consistent care helps us fulfill our main task – to provide qualified medical care, and therefore to help people preserve their health and even save lives, which is one of the most important missions of the united and cohesive Jewish Community of Dnipro under the leadership of Chief Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki.”
