“Or Shalom” Invites Parents

The “Or Shalom” Psychological Support Center announces enrollment for socio-psychological groups in the “Parental Skills Development” program for parents with children aged 6 to 15.

The organizers state: “The primary goal of the program is to promote children’s well-being by improving parents’ stress management skills, positive parenting practices, and strategies for supporting children with psychosocial needs.

The ‘Parental Skills Development’ program includes 5 sessions for parents. These sessions focus on positive methods of parent-child interaction, stress response, and management strategies.

Session 1 – ‘Understanding Children’s Psychosocial Needs.’

Session 2 – ‘Providing Psychosocial Support to Children.’

Session 3 – ‘Positive Quality Time with Parents, Building Positive Relationships, and Creating Space for Dialogue.’

Session 4 – ‘Empathy – Respect for Your Child’s Views, Thoughts, and Feelings.’

Session 5 – Reflection, Experience Sharing.

The meetings take place in a safe, confidential space with professional guidance from psychologists. The sessions are free of charge.
