The youth project of the Jewish Community of Dnipro, “DJCY-STL-STARS Dnipro”, supported by STL, celebrated Pesach Sheni — the Second Passover, marked exactly one month after the main Pesach holiday. The event was organized by the project leaders, Eliyahu Ivakhnenko and Leah Lazareva, who held a lesson dedicated not only to Pesach Sheni but also Farbrengen for Pesach Sheni at “DJCY-STL-STARS Dnipro”

Ahead of the holiday of Pesach Sheni, the Jewish Community of Dnipro received a meaningful gift from the Federation of Jewish Communities of Ukraine (FJCU) — 200 copies of the Book of Tehillim (Psalms) in Ukrainian, published as part of a major project to translate key Jewish religious texts into Ukrainian. These editions are in FJCU Donated 200 Copies of “Tehillim” to the Jewish Community of Dnipro

We are happy to share that Oleg Pavlov, a member of the “Golden Rose” Synagogue, has made a meaningful decision and entered the Covenant of Abraham. The Brit Milah ceremony took place at the JMC Jewish Medical Center. The circumcision was performed by Rabbi Yaakov Gaysinovich, Chief Mohel of Ukraine and Moldova and representative of Oleg Pavlov Entered the Covenant of Abraham. Mazal Tov, Moshe ben Avraham Pavlov!

The Jewish community of Dnipro’s “Beit Sarah” project for senior women, led by the well-known Jewish revival leader Luiza Tsitsuashvili, marked Pesach Sheni in a particularly meaningful way. Pesach Sheni at the Yeshiva

Pesach Sheni was widely celebrated in the Jewish community of Dnipro. At the Dnipro yeshiva named after Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Schneerson, a large children’s farbrengen was held in honor of the holiday. A new project has been launched in Dnipro by the city’s Jewish community — “100 Mezuzot for 100 Homes.” This initiative aims to place mezuzot on the front doors of Jewish households that have never had one, to sanctify the home, fill it with the light of Yiddishkeit, and bring blessings. Today marks a special day — the yahrzeit (anniversary of passing) of Rabbi Yisroel Aryeh Leib Schneerson, the younger brother of the Seventh Lubavitcher Rebbe. His holy resting place is located in the ancient cemetery of Safed (Tzfat), Israel, where many great tzaddikim and spiritual luminaries of the Jewish people are buried — including Rabbi Thanks to an Initiative from Dnipro, the Resting Place of the Rebbe’s Brother in Safed Has Been Restored
