At the “Beit Tsindlicht” Children’s Educational Center — the main preschool of the Jewish Community of Dnipro — a special series of weekly themes continues, each dedicated to one of the Days of Creation. The overarching concept is titled “The Six Days of Creation: The Beautiful World Around Us.” This week’s focus was “The Fourth Weekly Theme at “Beit Tsindlicht” – “The Fourth Day of Creation: The Sun, Stars, and Moon”

A new and deeply meaningful episode has been released on the “Menorah” YouTube channel — one that definitely deserves your attention. Last week, the Jewish community of Kremenchuk celebrated a truly meaningful and joyful occasion — the Pidyon HaBen (Redemption of the Firstborn) ceremony. The event was held both for Shmuel Boruch, son of Rabbi Levi Karelenstein and his wife Chana, grandson of Kremenchuk’s Chief Rabbi Shlomo Dovid Salamon, as well as for other community members Redemption of the Firstborn in the Jewish Community of Kremenchuk

The period from the 17th of Tammuz until the 9th of Av is known as Bein HaMetzarim (“Between the Straits”) and carries a number of important halachic and spiritual features. Summer never stops at the renowned “Gan Levi Yitzchak” retreat — no sooner had the first session ended than the second began, now welcoming over 150 participants. In the women’s project “Jewish Home” of the Jewish Community of Dnipro, led by Rebbetzin Chana Kaminezki, a special session was held focusing on the key events of the Jewish calendar during the month of Tammuz. The lesson was organized by the project’s initiator and coordinator, Chaya Prasolova, who created a warm and heartfelt atmosphere. The Jewish Community of Dnipro had the honor of welcoming Rabbi Usher Anshel Eckstein, the Chief Rabbi and one of the leading figures of the esteemed kashrut authority Vaad HaKashrus of Kehal Machzikei Hadas Belz, also known as Vaad HaKashrus of Belz USA.
