The Jewish Community of Dnipro organized a large-scale women’s event, “Mega Challah Bake”, held in memory of Leah (Likush) Altoys on the day of her yahrzeit. All attendees were given the opportunity to write a PaN (Pidyon Nefesh) at the beginning of the event. At Kosher de Luxe, the leading kosher grocery store of the Jewish Community of Dnipro, located in the world’s largest Jewish center, the Menorah, preparations for one of the most important holidays of the Jewish calendar—Shavuot—have been completed. A particularly extensive assortment of kosher dairy products has been specially curated for the holiday. For regular Kosher de Luxe – the widest selection of products for Shavuot!

At the Beit Tzindlicht Children’s Educational Center—the main preschool institution of the Jewish Community of Dnipro—the final classes in preparation for Shavuot have taken place. These sessions focused on important aspects and traditions of the holiday. The lessons were held in groups. While previous classes introduced the children to the Giving of the Torah, the Beit Tzindlicht is ready for Shavuot!

This Sunday, as part of the JBBBS (Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters) program of the Jewish community of Dnipro, another memorable event took place — a culinary workshop that brought together children, volunteers, and parents in a cozy, family-like atmosphere. At a recent session of the “Bnot Melech” club for middle-school girls studying at “Chaya Mushka”, the leading educational institution of the Dnipro Jewish Community, the discussion focused on the month of Iyar, the principle of Bitachon baHashem, and the concept of Yagati u-Matzati. The Jewish community of Dnipro carried out a large-scale campaign ahead of the holiday of Shavuot. More than two thousand community members received gifts provided by the Federation of Jewish Communities of Ukraine.
