This week, the volunteer project “Tov ve Hesed” of the Jewish Community of Dnipro held an educational session for children based on the weekly Torah portion Emor. The session explained the foundations in Judaism for the different expectations placed on various groups of people, the reasoning behind such distinctions, and how they are rooted in “Tov ve Hesed” introduced children to the principles of different levels of responsibility

International Museum Day Celebrated at the Jewish Museum of Dnipro

STARS Students Learn the “Libun Gamur” Method of Koshering

Students enrolled in the “STARS Intensive” level of the youth project of the Jewish Community of Dnipro – DJCY-STL-STARS Dnipro, supported by STL, took part in a hands-on kashrut workshop where they studied the koshering method known as libun gamur.
