The Avot uBanim Torah learning program (Fathers and Sons) continues its weekly meetings dedicated to the joint study of the Torah and other key Jewish religious texts, and invites Jewish families to take part in these sessions. Currently, Avot uBanim classes are held in two locations every Monday: between the Mincha and Maariv prayers at “Avot uBanim” invites fathers and sons to join the learning sessions

The leaders of the Dnipro Jewish Community’s youth project “DJCY-STL-STARS Dnipro,” supported by STL, Leah Lazareva and Eliyahu Ivakhnenko, created a special game for the period of Sefirat HaOmer. Inspired by a popular Ukrainian TV show, the game — titled Field — was adapted with deep Jewish meanings. Yom HaAtzmaut Concert at “Beit Baruch”

In honor of Yom HaAtzmaut — Israel’s Independence Day — a vibrant concert was held at the “Beit Baruch” Senior Home of the Jewish Community of Dnipro, featuring one of the leading ensembles from the “Freylekhs” Club of the “Hesed Menachem” Charitable Foundation. Winners of the “Star Way” – Jewish Lyceum Students

It was recently announced that two sixth-grade students of the Levi Yitzchak Schneerson Jewish Lyceum No. 144 – Volodymyr Horokhov and Lev Kupianskyi – became winners of the prestigious 23rd All-Ukrainian Research Conference-Competition “Star Way,” held in the last decade of April. Review of the May Issue of the “Shabbat Shalom” Newspaper

The May edition of the “Shabbat Shalom” newspaper (issue no. 388) was published in an abbreviated eight-page format. The front page is entirely devoted to the article “Pesach 5785,” which tells how this holiday was prepared for and celebrated by the Jewish Community of Dnipro. Students of the Jewish Community of Dnipro’s youth project “DJCY-STL-STARS Dnipro,” supported by STL, took part in a special session dedicated to exploring the motivation behind fulfilling mitzvot (commandments). Crazy Land for the Quiz Winners

As previously reported, a major quiz took place at the Dnipro Yeshiva named after Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Schneerson, dedicated to the birthday of the Leader of our generation, the Seventh Lubavitcher Rebbe — Menachem Mendel Schneerson.
