The Jewish Community of Dnipro and our website wholeheartedly congratulate the renowned historian and public figure, Dr. Igor Shchupak, on his birthday.
Igor Shchupak is the Director of the Ukrainian Institute for Holocaust Studies “Tkuma,” Vice-Rector for Scientific Work at the International Humanitarian-Pedagogical Institute “Beit Chana,” a member of the International Council of the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum (Poland), a member of the Board of Directors of the public initiative “Ukrainian-Jewish Encounter” (Canada), Honored Educator of Ukraine, and Candidate of Historical Sciences. Igor Yakovich is also a distinguished scholar and public figure, and the author of many books, including history textbooks for secondary schools.
The Jewish Community and our website wish Igor Shchupak happiness, health, success, and fruitful work, as well as great scientific achievements. May the light of Truth and Historical Truth spread with his help.
